Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Paul Buyse, 121 Studios, Heimstättenstraße 3, 82166 Gräfelfing, Germany, +49 174 2379106, contact@121-studios.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://121-studios.com/en/widerruf/#formular. If you use this online function, we will send you a confirmation of receipt without undue delay on a durable medium (e.g. by email), with information on the content of the declaration of withdrawal and the date and time of its receipt.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

When the right of withdrawal ends early

This section is not part of the statutory model. It explains when a right of withdrawal that exists at first ends early.

For a contract for digital content not supplied on a physical medium for which you pay a price, the right of withdrawal ends under Section 356 (6) no. 2 BGB before the period expires if all four conditions are met:

• We have begun performing the contract.
• You have expressly agreed that we begin before the withdrawal period expires.
• You have confirmed that you know this consent ends your right of withdrawal when performance begins.
• We have provided you with a confirmation under Section 312f BGB.

How this works with us: You give your consent and confirmation in the order overview, with a separate checkbox that is not ticked in advance. After payment you receive the order confirmation with these details by mail and a link to your order. There are two buttons there: “Redeem in my account” and “Pass code on to someone else”. We begin performing the contract as soon as you click one of the two buttons, because this makes the map or the code available to you. From that moment you no longer have a right of withdrawal, even if you have not downloaded the map yet. We confirm a withdrawal received after that, but reject it and do not refund the purchase price. If, after your click, we could not make either the map or the code available to you, we will make up for this without delay. If that fails, you can terminate the contract under Section 327c BGB.

If you have not clicked either button, you can withdraw within the period. We then refund the purchase price and block the code.

The right of withdrawal belongs to the buyer. Someone who receives a code from another person has no right of withdrawal of their own, because they did not conclude the purchase contract.
