About us
Why are you called 121 Studios?
We chose the name because 121 could be a bus route and at the same time is casual shorthand for 1:1. That is exactly what we have made our mission: to recreate cities 1:1.
What are you working on right now?
We are always working on the latest maps. You can see which ones on our product page. Do you have wishes for more maps? Feel free to send them to contact@121-studios.com.
Use and sharing
Can I give a map as a gift?
Yes, as long as the code has not been redeemed yet. The person receiving it creates an account and redeems the code there.
May I pass the map on to others?
No. As this is paid additional content, each purchase is intended only for its respective owner. Our maps carry a digital key that makes it possible to trace when a map has been passed on.
Can I use the map on a second PC?
Only if that PC also belongs to you and only you have access to it.
May I stream the map or show images of it?
Yes. We are even happy to see videos and other content of our maps. Feel free to tag us.
May I modify the map or make my own repaints?
No. Our maps are intended for your own use only, changes or your own repaints are not intended for them.
Buying and delivery
When do sales start?
You can find the sales start of each map on its product page.
How is the price of our maps made up?
We deliberately decided against a publisher so that we can offer you the maps as affordably as possible, rather than at the usual market price of 30 to 40 euros.
How do I get the map after buying it?
You receive the map as a code that you can redeem in your own profile or in another profile. You can then download the map.
Which payment methods are available?
All common ones via Stripe, for example credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Revolut Pay. You will see which ones are offered to you at the start of your order.
Can I withdraw from my purchase?
Consumers have a right of withdrawal. It ends early if you agreed in the order overview and redeem the code in your order or retrieve it to pass it on. The draft is in the withdrawal policy.
How often and for how long can I download the map?
You can download each version of the map twice. There is no minimum or maximum period.
My code does not work or is gone, what now?
Simply open a ticket in your account.
Map and technology
What do I need to play?
You need the base game OMSI 2.
Do I need any other addons?
No. We ship all our maps with our own objects. If we use third party objects, we only do so after clearing with the respective rights holders that we may include them. So you do not have to go to the trouble of downloading any additional content.
Does the map also run with openOMSI?
Yes. We even expressly recommend using our maps with openOMSI: Only there does the full quality come into its own, and you also get the best resolution, quality and frame rate.
How do I install the map?
You get a ZIP file from us. Drag it into your OMSI 2 main folder as usual.
How do I uninstall the map?
That is explained in the manual.
Will I get updates?
We try to release our maps as perfectly as possible. Since things can change now and then, updates appear from time to time, which you can download through your account. In your profile you can choose whether you want to be notified about updates.
